First Words

First Words represents the essence of true school hip-hop manifested through fresh rhymes and banging sample-based production. Based out of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, each adding their own flavour, the emcees Sean One and Above developed their ill rhyme flows while rapping with the Vet Cru of Saint John, New Brunswick. Through this group came into contact with Halifax hip-hop pioneer Jorun. Known for his work with Universal soul, Jorun helps provide the soundscape for First Words. DJ STV brings years of skills developed on the techs, and represents the art of the DJ to the fullest every time he touches the tables.
